My wife and I wanted to take a moment to extend our deepest appreciation and gratitude to Thomas and Justin - and the entire team at Cascade Hasson Sotheby's International Realty - on the sale of our home in Happy Valley, Oregon.
From what we understand, the $5.68 million outcome was a record transaction for a home on the East side of the city. Well done to everyone!!
As my late business partner General Colin Powell used to say: "Getting the victory is all about the people". Well, we can honestly say that this outcome truly was "all about the people". Thomas and Justin worked tirelessly in packaging and representing our award winning home. They went above and beyond the call of duty. They did things that we never dreamed that two guys would do to help us complete the transaction. They rolled up their sleeves and dusted (if there was dusting that needed to be done). They rolled up their pant legs if snow needed to be shoveled - from the massive circular driveway. They pulled on a rain coat if the pool cover or fountains or gutters needed attention. They even tightened their belts to cover the 15,000 sq. ft. of carpet with vacuum cleaners when needed. And, they even climbed the ladder to replace multiple LED lights across the homes 285 canned light spectrum. And, the part that blew us away was when they repaired a section of the ceiling in one of the homes closets. They literally patched, repaired and painted part of the ceiling because it needed to be done......
And, when they 'got it done' - on a whiplash seven day all cash close cycle - guess who could be found at our house boxing up and carrying wine bottles out out of the wine cave. Guess who could be found meticulously bubble wrapping paintings and personal artifacts. Guess who could be found delivering champagne to the new home owners... It was Thomas and Justin.
We could go on and on and on....
Suffice to say, we were not only happy, we were amazed by your teams commitment. Having built one of Oregon's larger businesses, I've seen a lot of employees in action. I can honestly say that you have two of the finest and hardest working professionals that I've ever experienced. They are priceless to your firm and we felt compelled to tell you how happy we were with these two professionals!!!
I don't know if your firm(s) ever do employee of the year honors - and or recognition. If so, we hereby nominate Thomas and Justin for the 2024 Customer Appreciation Award. Moreover, we nominate them for Sotheby's Employee(s) of the Year Award. And, we wish to extend to them MVP status at Presidents Club (if you have that?).
